We have been asked to help some of the Dialogue Institute members develop their English speaking skills. We need people interested in helping us do that. Classes will be held one night a week for 4 weeks. It does not require any previous knowledge or experience. If you want more information, see Martha Toth or Kim Bryant. A training will be held on Sept 15 after church.

On the first Saturday of every month we will be gathering at 10:00am at the church, to continue making quilts for foster children. Even if you have never sewn stitch in your life, you can do this. Everything will be ready to piece together. Jeana will be leading the session, and at the end, you will have completed a quilt! Please let Jeana Kubik know if you would like to attend.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, February 11. We will be having a Pre-Valentine’s Day bake sale before church. It will be in the format of a silent auction. Bidding begins at 10:00 am. Winners will be announced after church, so get out your baking pans and a favorite recipe. It’s time to bake!

Parents Night Out

Parents Night Out

At Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, we are all about creating and serving community - so this Friday, August 18, we want to offer parents a two hour break - from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Kids will be served a simple, but nutritious dinner, which will be followed by a craft and music.

All kids ages 3 to 10 are welcome - there is no charge!
