The mission of Pleasant Valley United Methodist is to connect people to Jesus Christ while making the community better, safer and stronger. We are involved in many different aspects of our community: 5 Loaves Food Pantry, Robert Sewell Elementary, Christian Care Center Food Bank Collection and other organizations throughout the community.

This “church on the corner” has been part of the community since 1862, with a rich heritage of love and acceptance.  Today, we are a vibrant and welcoming church, active in mission and passionate about providing opportunities for spiritual growth as well as fellowship.
